PEARL CHRISMAN, 70, PASSED AWAY NOV. 15 AFTER EXTENDED ILLNESS Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov 18 at 2 p.m. at Weddle Funeral Home in Stayton for Pearl E. Chrisman, 70, who died Thursday at a Salem hospital following several years of ill health. Burial was in the Weisner cemetery following the services at which Rev. W.H.Leyman of the Court St. Christian Church in Salem, officiated. Daughter of William and Alice (Larkins) Baker, pioneers of the Oregon Territory, Mrs. Chrisman was born Sept. 24, 1886 near Kington, northeast of Scio, Oregon. On Sept. 24 1903 she was united in married with George N. Chrisman, who preceded her in death in 1955. In 1953 they celebrated their golden wedding at the farm where they had lived their entired married life. To this union were born nine children, two daughters having died in infancy. Surviving are daughters Mrs. Gladys Porter of Stayton, Mrs Velma Limbeck and Mrs. Sylvesta Limbeck, both of Scio; sons: Ross of Lebanon, Lyle of Scio, Leroy of Healdsburg, Calf., and Delbert of Salem; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Bushman of Aurora, and Mrs. Laura Potts of Upland, Calif.; one brother, James Baker of Portland; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Mrs. Chrisman was a devoted mother and wife and will long be remembered for her sweet and kindly ways. Pallbearers were Raleigh Harold, Jess Wells, J.
