George N. Chrisman, 79, passed away suddenly Wednesday evening at his home about 5 miles northwest of Scio. He had lived all his life on the home place. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Abner Chrisman.
Surviving besides his widow are the following sons and daughters: Ross and Delbert Chrisman, Salem, Ore; Lyle and Leroy Chrisman, Scio, Ore; Mrs. Velma Limbeck and Mrs. Sylvesta Limbeck, Scio, Ore; Mrs. Gladys Porter, Stayton, Ore.
Also surviving are two brothers: Monroe, of Mossy Rock, Wash., and Elday of Wenatchee, Wash.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 P.M. at Weddle Funeral Home in Stayton, with Rev. Clyde Freeman of the Stayton Christian church officiating. Burial will be in Weisner cemetery.
