Guthrie of Seattle Washington. ------------- !Obituary: Woodland Independent, Febuary 1, 1945, page 5: MRS NANCY RAPE DIES Mrs. Nancy Jane Rape died Tuesday morning at a local rest home following a four day illness. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the Ringo chapel and internment will be at Bethany cemetery, Silverton. Mrs. Rape was born in Christian county, Illinois, July 1869. With her family she came to Oregon from Franklin county, Nebraska, in 1903 and for 20 years lived at Howell Prairie. They moved to Woodburn in 1922. Her husband, Fletcher E. Rape, died February 13, 1937. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Ronald Guthrie of Seattle and Mrs. Jean Benson of Portland; three sons, Franklin Rape of Oregon City, Morris L.
