Notes

The name Lathley appears very rare in early Massachusetts. In fact, it does not appear in the 1790 census of that state at all!! (The closest is three "Lathe"s in Worchester Co.). It is likely that his two sons did not leave any male descendants. A thorough search of the Mayflower Descendant has been conducted, and turned up only a few records. Bob Bowers of Lexington Mass was kind enough to look up his probate file for me at the Mass. State archives. It named only his wife.
