Probate Docket No. 371, dated 28 Oct 1808, states: to the heirs of John Lewis, late of said Buckstown, Yeoman, dec., ..." and names "Margaret Rich", "heirs of James Lewis dec.", "Winneford Wiley wife of Nathaniel Wiley of Wellfleet", "heirs of Lathley Lewis", "Betsy Cole the wife of Joseph Cole of Buckstown". Covenant Owners: "1753: Jan 28 John Lewis and Magaret his wife" Truro Chruch, [MD 26:120] Truro church records [MD 18:54] show "John Lewis" admitted to the church 4 May 1746. This is probably him (because he just turned 21 and no wife is mentioned), but it is possible it is his father. !Birth: Truro VR p.5: "John Lewes the son of John and Elisabeth Lewes was Born at Truro April 15th:1725" !Baptism: MD 9:77
