Notes
He was the minister of the church at Monomoy (now Chatham, on Cape Cod) in 1699, and drowned there in 1701. He was the son of George Vickery of Marblehead and Hull. He had a son Deacon Jonathan Vickery. [Source: NEHGR 49:456]
He drowned when a boat upset in Pleasant Bay, Chatham.

!Probate: [Barnstable Probate Records, in Cape Cod Gen Soc Bulletin spr/sum 1997, p. 499]: "Setting the estate of Mr. Jonathan Vickory and Elizabeth Vickory his wife late of Manomoitt, both dyed intestate which settlement bears date of 5 July 1706 there was settled on David Vickory one of the sons of sd Dec'd one third part of the real estate upon condition that he should give security when he should arrive to the age of one & twenty years for the payment of six & twenty pounds thirteen shillings & four pence unto Rebecca, his sister and to Sarah Nickerson, his sister's daughter when they should arrive to Lawfull age to Receive the same which was the whole of his part to pay out besides his own portion being sixteen pounds. And also sd David now arrived to full age If living and is gone off to sea & ot (returning?) the Conditions aforesd, & Legacies to be paid out of the sd third part and that is (not known?)(?) that the sd David now living Now Know ye therefore that I, Barnabas Lothrop, Judge, upon application made to me do now settle and sett over unto Jonathan Vickory the eldest son of the sd dec'd the remaining third part of all ye sd Real estate of teh sd Jonathan Vickory his Dec'd Father of all sorts and kinds whatsoever he having Given Bond as the Law directs, for paying out the portions of his sd brother & the sd Rebecca his sisters & Sarah Nickerson, his kinswoman. 6 Apr 1714"
