"Sylvs. Snow", Selectman of Eastham, 1743 (2 yrs) [Freeman 2:414] "Sylvanus Snow", Representative of Eastham, 1758-1760 (2 yrs) [Freeman 2:413] !Administration: Eastham, 7 Apr 1772 to Edward Snow of Eastham. Edward was made guardian of Silvanus and Heman snow, minor sons of Silvanus, on 5 May 1772, and Barnabas Freeman of Eastham was made guardian of Hannah, minor dau. on 13 Apr 1773. [MF 6:326] !Settlement of Estate: 11 Aug 1772, names widow Deborah Snow, eldest son Edward Snow of Eastham; sons Collier and Silvanus; daus. Mary Dean (wife of William); Tabitha Holbrook (wife of Isaiah), and Hannah Snow. A subsequent settlement of 10 Oct 1786 mentioned sons Collier and Edward of Penobscot; Mary, widow of William Doane <sic> of Eastham; Tabitha, wife of George Hatch of Wellfleet, and Hannah, wife of Elisha Rich of Wellfleet. Wife Deborah's administration on 10 Apr 1786. !Inventory: 25 Apr 1786 of Estate of Silvanus Snow, late of Eastham, that had been left to relict Deborah. Her administrator suspected that property had been embezzled by Mary Doane <sic> of Eastham, George Hatch and wife of Wellfleet, and Elisha Rich and wife of Wellfleet.
