Notes

He moved to Rhode Island as a young man, and resided at South Kingston. He was a Captain of the militia during King Phillips war, as well as Justice of the Peace and Grand Juror in 1687, and a member of the Rhode Island Assembly in 1705. He owned plantations at South Kingston and Block Island. !Will: Proved in Rhode Island, 12 Feb 1727/8 (his death was in Braintree, Mass, 22 Dec 1727).
