Notes
Married to John Hasbrouck Gosman by Rev. J. G. Bass.
She was a sincere and exceptionally devout Christian of the Protestant faith and in the early 1900s a Deaconess in the Lenox Road Baptist Church of Brooklyn N.Y. Wholeheartedly she endeavored to aid anyone in trouble of distress and when possible collected for the needy. She was about 5' 1" in height, had hazel eyes, light skin (sort of pinkish) and when young her hair was brown but it was what is known as pepper and salt before she was 35 yeras of age. In her late years the strands silvered and became a crowning glory of pure silky white. Her cheeks were naturally ruddy and her countenance protrayed a sort of goliness.
After her husband's death, she lived with her son Clarence until her death.
