Possibly the son of Thomas and Stintje/Christiana (Von Woggelum) Pursell. This Stintje was the daughter of Jan Pietersen Van Woggelum (aka Mackelyck,Makkalie, Maklys,...), b. Amsterdam and Styntie Jans from Ootmarsum (Overyssel province, Holland, near german border), who m. 10 Feb 1664 in Brooklyn NY. Jan P. Van Woggelum was the son of Pieter Adrianense (aka Van Woggelum). Styntie Jans was the dau. of Elsje Hendricks, and her step father was Johannes Marcus. Jan and Styntje lived on Staten Island, NY.
